These trails go north to Berwyn (ending at Lake Artemesia) and south further than we've ever gone! These trails are maintained by the Maryland National Capital Parks & Planning Commission, which has a web site at http://www.mncppc.org/. Information on the Hike/Bike/Equestrian trails is at http://www.pgparks.com/places/parks/parks.anacos.html. The map showing the trail through Riverdale Park (the Northeast Branch Trail) is at http://www.pgparks.com/places/place_images/anacostia.big.gif. That file is pretty large, so be prepared to wait a few minutes for a download -- but it's worth it!
