Leaf collection in town will start on November 6. Public Works is asking residents to rake their leaves onto the town right of way. Please do not rake leaves into the street. A schedule has been set for collection of leaves. Do not park your vehicles from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on either side of the street when leaf collection is scheduled for your street. If a vehicle must be parked on the street due to an emergency, do not park it next to a pile of leaves. Rake the leaves into a pile as far away from the parked vehicle as possible. Do not rake leaves into or place piles near a storm drain. In case we cannot pick up all the piles in a section on its scheduled day, please keep parked vehicles away from the piles so we can get to the leaves as our schedule permits. The vacuum leaf collection is for leaves only, do not include branches, brush, rocks or debris. These items can damage equipment and delay collection. Your leaves will not be picked up if the above items are present.
