§ Town Clock Back on Line

The town clock went out of service in March and, when the New Jersey repairman (trained in Verdin clocks) checked it out, he found the problem was a frozen gear box. The box was sent to the Verdin factory in late April and the repaired box received in early May. The clock is now back on line--showing the correct time and chiming the quarter hours.

Thanks to the many residents who asked about the clock--it has become a part of our daily routine and we will enjoy having it back.
