Riversdale Notes
Ladies and gentleman in appropriate dress will enjoy a ball in the west wing of the mansion on the evening of Saturday, August 21, 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. Early 19th century or black tie attire. Donation: $15.00. Call 301/864-0420 for information.
Beginning on Friday, August 6, Riversdale will be open for tours each week on Fridays and Sundays from noon to 4:00 p.m. The addition of Fridays to the present schedule is to respond to requests from visitors who find a weekday more convenient. Residents who take out-of-town visitors to the sites in downtown are encouraged to include this significant historic site on their schedule. Admission: Adults - $3, Seniors - $2, Children - $1.
