Following is a summary of council actions taken at the November 1 regular legislative session. Absences, abstentions and opposing votes are noted.

Regular Legislative Session November 1

  1. Approved special exception (SE4311) for minor revisions to McDonald's site at Baltimore Boulevard and East-West Highway.

  2. Approved request for 12-foot variance for front set back at 6506-51st Avenue.

  3. Approved expansion for radius of Police Department "take home" car policy.

  4. Approved closing of certain portions of Lafayette Avenue and New York Place on November 11 during Veterans Monument dedication.

  5. Approved installation of stop signs on Riverdale Road at intersection with 49th Avenue.
