The Riverdale Park Public Works Dept. invites all residents to come join in the fun on October 6 for Riverdale Park Day. Public Works vehicles and equipment will be on display.

During the year the department has repaired and painted bikes that were donated and will hold a free bike raffle during Riverdale Park Day. Bicycle helmets donated by the Riverdale Park Police Dept. will be given out with each bike.

Tree Branches, Weeds, and Grass Cuttings

Please keep tree branches, weeds, and grass cuttings separate from your regular trash. Weeds and grass cuttings need to be put in bags, not dumped into trash cans. Tree branches need to be bundled and may not be larger than 2 inches in diameter or longer than 3 feet in length.

At this time of year there is an abundance of weeds, grass cuttings, and branches being set out and it is taking the Public Works Dept. longer than one day to pick up everything in town. If the weeds, grass cuttings, and branches are not picked up on regular trash day, they will be picked up the next day.

Reminder: The next metal pick up day is Wednesday, October 17.
